Shoalhaven River

A en plein air painting I made while sitting on the bank of the Shoalhaven River in Nowra. I perched on a timber bollard fence and set up my kit so I could take in the beautiful surroundings to capture the moment in time. As the fluffy white clouds moved quickly over head, I painted, listening to the kids on the other side of the bank jumping and squealing with excitement and laughter, enjoying their weekend. I was relishing the stillness, water sounds and the occasional crack of the whip birds call that rung out.

This is a 5x7 inch acrylic painting on paper, framed in a glass front oak frame, ready to hang or stand.
